Edit: well, judging by the amount i gained posting this I'd say about 5.7 a post

It's good that rep costs a small fortune, it's not supposed to be easy to gain on your own

Although you should be earning more points than 5.7 a post. An average post should get like 25 points, larger posts get more and smaller ones get less But don't outright abuse the system, or you'll wind up like Lethe

Well, I guess i can wait till I can get enough rep before i get in the arcade. I won't be spamming posts in an attempt to get more points. I don't even post that much to begin with. I'll just practice on a flash game site till then.

edit: aw man, someone took the Kirby game out of the arcade. I had a trophy for that one.

Well, after the rollback things seem to be going pretty slow. I've started making new additions to the forums already, to bring it back to it's old standard and then move beyond that to newer heights ; ).

So far, the links and downloads system has been added back in. This means that our members can now contribute to the links database by uploading files such as BIOS's, etc. which will help our n00b users gain access to emulation goodies of a varied nature. The new links system (which had been added earlier as well..) enables registered users to upload files to our server and link to them, this way you already have a readymade place to upload to.


Secondly, I've added a Time-Travel hack. This doesn't really serve any practical purpose but is a fun addition. What it does is, it filters threads based on the last post date, and in a way makes the forum appear as if you were viewing it in your selected time period. For example, if you selected April 2005, you will only be showed threads from and older than April 2005, all newer threads will be hidden from view. Try it out

There'll be more new stuff showing up shortly including the reintroduction of our beloved arcade system. So you definitely have something to look forward to despite the rollback.

There we go, the arcade has been added back . Ofcourse, I'm going to be adding more games since the default arcade install comes with very few titles.

Also, added this new feature to seperate the Sticky threads in a forum from the Normal threads, otherwise it gets kind of messy when there're too many stickies.

Well, we've completed the move to our new server in Toronto, Canada. You should now experience blazing fast speeds and great uptime, enjoy : )
