    Default Vampire Hunter D [U] [SLUS-01138]

    Game in question: Vampire Hunter D [U] [SLUS-01138].

    Does anyone know how to get the menu to show after the main movie. I know its the menu next b/c when i tap my d-pad I hear sound like is switching between menu bars on the screen but the whole screen is black.

    Known emulation issue.

    Try the latest versions of pSXfin, Xebra and SSSPSX.

    The begining menus still don't come up on any of those emulators, and Xebra is straight up shit.

    It's a known issue even with the latest emulators/plugins. There's no way to get it to show except on a real psx. Luckily, that games menu isn't all that deep to begin with.

    edit: Here's what you're missing

    Screen one: Just the title screen. Says "Press Start"

    Screen two: New game will be highlighted. Press down to highlight load game if you saved before then press start. I believe one more down is options, but it has been a while.

    Screen three: This is where you set the difficulity. It is set for normal off the bat. Press up then start for easy, or down then start for hard.

    ok so if i just keep hitting start ill come to the main game and im not missing any special bonus features or mini games or anything right? Just hitting start should take me to the main game correct? All I wanna do is get to the main game to beat it that's all...

    Yeah just pressing the start button worked for me when I played it
