Bwahaha, that made me laugh so hard.

I mean, do the VC games have multiplayer support?

And Zorlon, I uploaded the pic directly to EP. You should be able to see it now.

Ah damn. I hope Nintendo or some 3rd party develop something like kaillera for the Wii, it would be awesome.

Can't see them doing that maybe they might add link up online for some GameBoy games in the future, but can't see them doing that either.

You could try wrighting to them through e-mail and surgest a few future features.

At the moment there are no particular Wii downloads that I would jump to have yet, the only 2 that have some osrt of interest are Gunstar Heros that just fun and Dungion Explorer thats a good solid TG16 RPG, but not that great

Also there are extra free chanels aswell that are not so obvious, updates are sent to your Mail board in the Wii chanel list though with info on how to start any new chanels

If I may make an observation, wouldn't this thread be a bit better off somewhere other than EE? It doesn't have much to do with emulation.

Nope I'm gethering information for a FAQ for this section and it will be covering emulation aswell as everything else, even if I can't emulate with my Wii personly.

It will cover alot though so the final guide can be duped if you like.

    ...On subject

I can't seem to make a compatable vid file for the Wii

I can get video but no sound

Tested *.Avi and *.Mov using M.Jpeg+Mp3 but this is resulting with no sound

Any idea's on what sound codec I should be using

    EDIT:-
Will not boot directly on the Nintendo Wii
    Action Replay 1.04 (PAL)
    Action Replay 1.15 (PAL)
Max Drive Pro (PAL)... will add a version number soon

I will also add the chart for the Import Player to the big ass faq

I'm not really sure how relevant,
    but still.

Go to www.wiicade.com on your wiis opera browser and play some flash games that work well with the wiimote.

thers also an internet radio thing,
think its called wiihear.com or summin like that.

Thanks Dinosaurman I was kinda wondering about java & flash based games running on the Wii there should be alot of mouse web based games that should run just fine on the Wii while connected through opera

Thats very relevent thanks , will have to dig through some of the java/flash games sites that are general ones for other games

Found a little prog called Wii Video 9 for creating video's compatable with the Wii (played from SD)

I'll have that tested tonight and report back in the morning

The report is that the quality in bad, whatever method you use to convert M.JPEG movies are poor in image quality... just not worth it.

    UK VC Prices

2000 Point cards cast £14.00 (maybe just under in some shops)

    £00.35 per 50 points
    £00.70 per 100 points
    £03.50 per 500 points
    £07.00 per 1000 points
    £14.00 per 2000 points

    NES games = from 500 points £03.50
Turbo Graphix games = from 600 points £04.20
    SNES & Megadrive games = from 800 points £05.60
    Nintendo 64 games = from 1000 points £07.00

So far all the games are at the lowest price for each system.

For buying old console games this isn't too bad compared to buying 2nd hand carts and emulation is perfect with havin to play with settings or plugins

    Still like my emulation though

How backwards compatable is the Nintendo Wii
-All Official Game Cube games are compatable
-Most versions of Action Replay will not be recognised (create a chart) [With the few versions of Import Player that do work can boot these]
-Most versions of Import Player will not be recognised (create a chart) [I know there is one now]
-Most versions of Max Drive (maybe all versions) will not be recognised (create a chart maybe) [With the few versions of Import Player that do work can boot these] (The memcard can still be used though)
-Datels GameBoy Advance thing will not be recognised [With the few versions of Import Player that do work can boot this]
-GameBoy Player can not be attached
-GC Modems (56K and ADSL)/Network adaptors can not be attached
-Anything that connects to the underside of the GameCube can not be used
-Custom Controlers e.g. Bongo Drums, work fine
    -GameBoyAdvance Cable, work fine

1 question, when u make a Mii, what does the favorite crown mean, all I see is the fact that it chages the color of the Mii's pants.

it means they will be in your games.

Like Wii sports and stuff I believe
or at least it puts them in an order so you dont have to go looking for them when you do play/

    I dunno.
