    Default Michigan: Report From Hell...

Has anyone heard about this PS2 game? It sounds pretty cool. You play as a cameraman and you, a reporter, and an audio dude head out to a city infested by zombies and you basically have to take nice looking videos. If a dude is getting eaten by a zombie you can either save him, or tape him being killed and rack up bonus points for that.

All the information I found about this game makes it seem like a Resident Evil meets Fatal Frame. The thing I don't get is all the porn in the game... is there even any porn? About 3/4's of the pictures of this game over at IGN are a bunch of naked chicks just covering up their boobs with their arm. And if your reporter kneels down to pick something up, you can do an upskirt tape and gain extra points for that. Porn and zombies... sounds like a bad Return Of The Living Dead flick.

Thanks to newsgroups I'm getting myself the imported version in English. The Japanese title of it is just Michigan but the import included Report From Hell.
    Vae Victus!

Sacrifices have been made, thunder and lightning appear
Rejoice in hideous blasphemy, know that the time is near
The chosen hail their master well, lusting for hate and scorn
Crying out in evil ecstacy, the antichrist is born

LOL OMG I'M ON MYSPACE I'M A SELLOUT

    That looks downright terrible. Damn.

The idea sounds kind of cool though.

It sounds like a game development company desperate for ideas heard the name of a particular real town in Michigan, and decided to make a zombie game based there, since as we all know, gore sells. Oh, and they added all the "nekkid" (or near nekkid...would that be semi-nekkid? Quasi-nekkid? Demi-nekkid?) because, as we all know, sex also sells. Let's all hear it for bounce algorithms...

EDIT: Not a shooter, so I'll swap that out of my original post, but now that I've finished the preview, it sounds like an interesting idea (media cameraman?) and sloppy implementation. And "looking at girls in provocative ways."

Wow, this game looks great. Until I read how it is "played", that is.

I rather try to get my hands on this game: http://www.d3p.co.jp/zombie/index.html

I mean, who doesn't want to battle zombies with an ambulance?
