Default You know you're a geek when...

This thread is designed to be one of the typical nonsense Hangout threads, much like any of the others. Whether or not it is moved into the Hangout is the mods decision. But anyways, this is how it goes. Just simply think of things that would automatically make someone a geek, somewhat like a "You know you're a redneck" joke but much more...geeky. I'll go first.

You know you're a geek when you find yourself getting a keygen just to listen to the music...

You know you're a geek when you make an internet handle for yourself.

Man, it's a good thing that being a geek isn't a bad thing.

EDIT: You know you're a geek when you can get Windows to work properly.

    BLASPHEMY

    It's "Trekkie" not geek.

You know you're a geek when you have video card envy.

You know you're a geek when you spend your time on the computer arguing videogame consoles with other geeks.

I have done that. Really. Only I never searched for Keygens for the music. I just sat there and listened to the music once I had what I needed.

You know you're a geek when you join an online message board and threaten to hack every member who crosses your path, while trying to sound like a badass.

Geh, that's more a script kiddie than anything (who are still fun to mess with, from reading this older link). But that leads directly into...

You know you're a geek when you can (and do) differentiate between hackers, crackers, and script kiddies.

You know you're a geek when you spend more time working on your computer than you do hanging out with your friends.`

You know you're a geek when presented with the decision to pay the electric bill or buy new computer components, you end up going without light and install your new components by pen-light.

Then afterwards, running an extension cord from your neighbors outside outlet to your house in order to use the new piece of hardware that you installed.

I'd go with the eliectric bill on that one, dude. I need the electricity to use my computer.

You know you're a geek when you'd rather pay your internet bill over your cable bill.

You know you're a geek when you punch your little brother in the face out of anger when you were blown away by a player in an online FPS game, from a rocket launcher.
