It doesn't look very "clear" to me, the finish looks pretty uneven, so I can understand where he's coming from... Is it the light, or the angle of the shot...? Who knows, but it does look pretty crappy.

The stand DOES look sort of transparent... But that's pretty much it.

And unless I missed it, nowhere in the page did I see the words "transparent case" or the likes, just "midnight blue"...

Its totally blue dude. Some parts look darker because of the camera and the thickness of the plastic, but it is 100% clear blue, Japanese Limited Edition BB pack.

It doesnt come with a built in HDD loader lol. And its a japanese unit anyway, Swap Disks are a bit rare for it. Plus, why spend 350$ when you can get a used PS2 for 75 bucks and a HDD+Network Adapter for 100 bucks if you look
