u could keep that pc
I have a laptop very similar to that (less ram more gfx)
stick in a really cheap gfx card ad it should emulate n64 ok and others perfectly fine (gba, snes, psx, etc.)
BUT...
if ur gfx card is integrated then upgrade to xp as more system ram will be reserved 4 gfx. (prolly 32mb)
it worked 4 my laptop like that.

if you upgrade to xp you will have better video?
Darth is fairly new as far as members are concerned anyway...he's just a spammer.
I'd say that computer is proably worth somewhere around $100.
If it was mine, I'd just keep it and have a second machine to tinker with...but if you're not going to use it, it wouldn't make sense.
Secondly, considering that you're interested in selling your old machine, my guess is you probably don't want to build your next one. It's not difficult, but you do need to know what you're doing (at least as far as getting parts is concerned). If you have a friend that could help you build it however, by all means go that route.
this assumes that u have an integrated gfx card. tell me about ur gfx card being integrated or not.
well certain games have checks to see if u have enough gfx memory (and other stuff) before running the game.
if u don't have the specs 4 it the game won't run at all.
so if u have a copy of xp handy go right ahead...
otherwise don't bother, unless a friend is feeling generous...
