Yes, it is. I couldn't get past the sewers level with that one jump over the water on my NES, but luckily emulators help.

I say Metroid (NES) is really hard because of it bad controls and glitchiness. It's hard to also get 100% items and do it pretty quick.

Seriously now that game was easy. Beat that sum bitch many a moon ago with no cheats. The Pagemaster on SNES was pretty hard.

I did. When I was like six. It can't possibly be that hard. Then again, I was playing Final Fantasy games around the age of six so you never know.

Hardest game? Hmm.. God of War on God mode possibly. The last two boss battles alone is enough to want to kill yourself. I wouldn't say it's the hardest, but it's the only one I can think of.
