Default Google Ads on this site

So Google accepts emulation sites for its Adsense program? Is that so, or did you work around it somehow?

They accepted us, so I assume they do accept emulation sites.

I was pretty sure Adsense was sensitive to swearing *shrugs* These ads aren’t as amusing as the ones in my Gmail, though~ :D

Nah, not quite, more like kinds of supplies and the like. Apparently Adsense is blocked in my HOSTS file though, so I don’t even see the ads on the forums. So much for retro being so great~ ^_^

Lol, I should add those really annoying ads that u need to skip to my HOSTS file. U know the ones that u are taken to when u wanna access like roms here.

I don’t even know how all of that stuff showed up in my hosts file to begin with. o.o; I didn’t even know what it was, until I began to notice I was the only one who didn’t see Google ads. Sawah told me what it might be, and that’s what it was. I kinda feel guilty for blocking ads, though since I have no way to purchase online atm anyways, not so much.

emulation is not illegal, i don't see why adsense must block it

Actually according to Nintendo, it is. But I don't know all the specifics. My bro was writing some article on it, or something like that; he was saying that there is some loophole to Nintendo's argument, but legally Nintendo GBA emulation is illegal. Something like that.

Emulation it's self is not illegal, Roms are illegal.

ROMs themselves aren't illegal, downloading them without owning the original is.

Actualy downloading them is illegal even if you own the original. It's legal to make a backup copy however you have to make it, you cant download it.

Doesn't mention emulation specifically…and the legality of it is fuzzy, at best. They do prefer that their ads only show up on a clean white page, though. :P
