And if I'm not mistaken, all the cases have been dismissed.

That's not the point, though.

The point is, a fat guy sues a food company, for himself eating their food and getting fat. (Edit: Though the cunt was probably already fat.)

Stupid fat americans.

I'm not arguing that it's ok. It is beyond logic to sue for something you do yourself, that is a given, my point is that people do recognize that it is stupid. Americans do laugh at them, too.

Points:

-It's stupid.

-It never holds up in court.

That's it. Besides, people sue for other stupid things.

Meh.

I read somewhre or someone told me, that if you jacked a car, and went 'joy riding', and crashed, you could sue the owner of the car. Or something similar.

I think so.

Other stupid shit: if you attack a thief in your house, he can sue you. I wouldn't give him the chance.

We should make a thread about "Stupid things you've heard or seen."

"Hey officer. I don't know what happened, sir. He just ran into my fists a couple times and my bat somehow got involved in the whole thing. It was self defense, sir. He was trying to take my Sirius radio, and uh, I was planning on listening to Howard Stern hosted by that fruity Goerge person this week. Is he alright? He hasn't moved for 10 minutes, I don't know, man."

Well, I'm moving. Anyone need a roomate? I can make smoothies!!!

EDIT: Okay in all seriousness, this won't hold. The Federal government, will spend BILLIONS should it pursue EVERY claim of someone being annoyed online. No law enforcing body will act on online "annoyment" because they have better things to do. Such as bringing in cocaine dealers and murders (and then theres the whole "Patriot Act").

In short, only an idiot would waste his time arresting people for annoying someone. THERE ARE BETTER THINGS TO DO.

I called someone a badword on the internet, and the cops called my house within 10 minutes.
unfortunately, my phone number differed 1 digit from the local Duncan Donuts, so it was a wrong number.
I'll continue to say bad things on the internet for now anyway.
I completed the internetz

Oh no I quite aware of it. Only smart thing he's done in the past 6 years is let his General run the war. Politicians, being 90% lawyers, have never experienced combat or studied the ways of modern war. Thus, they don't know how to fight one.

So I give Bush a 1% approval rating, based on his only smart choice.

But yeah, Bush=moron. 99% of the time.
