Touch my twat.
i would love to play rugby. i got the general rules down, but the small things elude me.
WHAT I KNOW OF RUGBY:
pass backwards only
get it over the goal-line (or whatever u call it) and touch it to the ground
kick it thru
lol...
i don't know much about football myself. i've only watched one game in my life and thats cuz my sister's ex was hogging the tv when he came over once and i noticed how fun the game looks. said i'd be a perfect offensive lineman...or something
Take those, make them more...technical, add in various offside elements and scrummage, fighting, stamping, biting etc and youre almost there. Well, for Rugby Union. The Rugby League code is an entirely different kettle of fish. But much more fun to watch.Originally Posted by CheezyMadman

so rugby union is the ghetto version of the more professional streamlined rugby league?
lol, kinda like Backyard Football. anything goes, no blood no foul, etc.
Not really.Originally Posted by Mikey

Psst, it is.
I only watch a few matches a year. Sometimes I indulge myself and watch the Superbowl. But I feel bad about it, 'cause it always ends up being boring.
The pro game is so much less exciting than the college game. The pros play for money, and dont play as hard, b/c if they get hurt, they dont get paid.
the college players play because they love the game and their university. they play their hearts out week after week, for 3-4 years of their lives.
UPDATE: touchdown Ohio State, celebration penalty of Santonio Holmes. went into the endzone with his hand in the air, starting at about the 10 yard line.
21-7, OSU.
That's what I saw back in college. Yup. Nicely put, too.
nicely put indeed. college football certainly does sound alot funner when you put it that way.Originally Posted by CheezyMadman
