Question about downloading games through links on the forums

I'm new here, i was just wondering, is it against policy if you see a link in a thread and click on it to download the ISO without asking permission first?

I saw some post about some guy that had stolen a link or something, didn't want to be put in that category so i thought i'd ask before i downloaded anything. Thanks in advance!

Well, if the links are there, we're totally for you downloading it. That's why it's there. What we hate is people taking the links without our permission and posting them on other forums.

heh, none of us would do that lol, they uploaded it for others to get, other people uploading takes a bit of the weight off their hands.

well said, link stealers need to be shot .... i hate it when i see peoples stuff from here posted on other sites (seen a few on warez posts on other sites.)
