I'm thinking of keeping the money I'm saving for 360 and buying a PS3 when it comes out.

I want to play Tekken 6 on the PS3 When I get mine. Thats going to be a great game to play.

I'm still in doubt of buying the PS3 or the Xbox360. I wait a while till the prices drop and there are more games released.

I'm not likely to buy one until the PS4 and XBox720 start coming out. Maybe. Unless several really interesting games come out that I absolutely must have immediately, at which point I'll probably drain what's supposed to be tuition and textbook funds. Or unless absolutely nothing interesting comes out, at which point I won't bother.

I'm planning on getting one after a price drop and a large library of games are released (maybe 1-2 years after launch?). Of course there are some games which may change my mind, one being MGS4 (If it get's released shortly after launch and it's as good as the last 3, I'm getting a PS3 ASAP). I'll have to see what is coming out, how much $ I have, and the quality of what is being released before I buy anything. Usually the launch titles are crap and the games don't really get good until at least a year after launch IMO.

But we have always been PlayStation 'fans', so I'm guessing we will be getting a PS3.

Seriously, next-gen consoles are a tad too pricey for me. Even the concept of buying one right when it comes out makes me shiver. *brrrr*

I'd love to get a PS3 at launch, but if history repeats itself I won't be getting one for a while. I want to see a good library of games established for it too. My first-generation PS1 went bad to the point where I had to turn the thing upside down to play it...and my first-generation PS2 started having loading problems/disc read errors after 2 months. In 2007/2008, Sony will probably end up selling a "slimline" version of the PS3 anyway...
