Who's Getting A PS3 Console?

I'll get one when there's some must have game. Maybe a Final Fantasy, or something that would have the ability to takeover my life. And then it'll be more of a need than a want. Same with Xbox 360 really, I remember getting an Xbox for a some crazy amount of money, and then I forgot to buy a solid game, and I never played it

. . .waiting about a year for a) a price drop and b) a chance for some decent games.

Should be a solid enough console if the PS1 and PS2 are anything to go by.

I believe It will be compatible with PS1 games and PS2 games. And also PSP compatible as well which I got a PS2 and games and also a PSP handheld. And also I am looking forward to playing Devil May Cry 4 on the PS3 console.

I'm thinking about buying it but also I'll wait for price drop, and I'm sure that in first version again there will be some errors so I'll wait also for better version of console

I was planning to buy a Revolution, but as I find more gems on the PS2, the PS3 looks better and better.

If whoever makes the Tekken series has any brains, there WILL be a version for the Revolution. Same thing with practically any shooter, armed fighter, ...and other things IF they make the controller modifyable*(like for shooters you could add a little projection to a side to make it feel more like a gun)

I'll definitely be buying it. When I'll be buying it is an entirely different question. I dont think I'm going to be an early adopter this time around. I'm tired of getting burned. It's taken awhile, but I've learned my lesson.

don�t really know... if i was a little younger my answer would be 100% yes
it�s just not the same feeling as with playstation1 or even earlier genesis / snes
(yeah good old days )

tekken 6 and gran turismo 5 are the two titles i�ll be checking out anyhow...

Maybe ill get one, but really not at launch, thats always too expensive. i dunno yet about the games, im not really into metal gear solid, gran turismo, but i love final fantasy or tekken, so if those 2 titles are in the launch line up (most unlikely) id get one rite away!

But when MS release the Xbox 360 It had alot bugs for example.

Game cds where scratch when turning the box sidewards.

Picture flickers on some games.

And It sucks alot of power when using the console.

They rushed the Xbox 360 and not tested the console before launch.

I am hoping there's no bugs In the PS3. I hope Sony tested the console before It goes launch.
