And emupardise.org has leeched the Renzukoken.com servers. They caused a huge spike/increase in bandwith; detrimental to the webhosting of Renzukoken.com. Emuparadise the thieves...

More like it was a guy I know from IRC, who gos by the nick "Wordcoil". After he leeched their site, on his 30/30 meg connection, they sent him an email about it.

What would you say if you have made a bigger upload and have to reup some partfiles again and again. Or you work is stolen by another who says ohhh thats mine! prise me for my work!!
He is making our uploads into a piece of shit and all the work an upload needs, and thats something I woun't accept.

Just got a pm from the renzukoken - admin. He deleted all the stolen links and will possibly kick hgamer, woun't help much but better then nothing

The only method I'd know is to give the pw or last link only per pm. But thats hard work, too.

I'd still say that the YSIer usergroup wasn't such a bad idea. Not that I visit there much, but link stealing apparently pisses quite a few people off.

Yeah, thats what I suggested at the start... (about passwords). I added a password to my last link of my upload, but now that the "Upload Services" has been cutoff there is less point in adding a password.

Then again, I figured out how to access it (since I have less then 50 post), I'm sure it would'nt be too difficult for someone else to figure it out.

Note: Still we havent learned who this jerk of a Linksteeler is, right?

well most link stealers are people with low post count, and password can be a pain but they only work to a point.

True... I'm not saying a password is fool-proof, just an added detourent. Plus if a link does get stolen, and someone had a password on it... it would'nt be too difficult to figure out who it was, since they would have had to PM for it. You would have your list of suspects right there.

In any case, it was just a suggestion. ^^
