FREE MMORPG's NEEDED PLEASE

been playing silkroad for some time now i am lvl 22 have 150k on my account
and have my own guild which i am leveling up with my friends to get acces to guild quests!and i am only in the second town!i can proudly say that i have done every quest in the game for my lvl and i intend to keep it up!
anyone else been playing silkroad?

I've heard good things about FreeAllegiance and it might be worth checking out even though it's not an MMORPG.

Runescape's fun for a while but gets boring, especially on free play. Diablo 2 is free and fun to play after you buy, but B.net can be annoying at times(in d2 it's the worst). You've probably not heard of Wyvern which is a MUD, but with simple top-down graphics. It's got good gameplay but the difficulty is very high, especially due to an enforced "no quest collaboration" rule, and the community is rather small. Well of Souls is slightly larger. It's a simple clicking RPG with a chat engine and the ability to make new worlds for the client. If you decide to check that out, do not stick to Evergreen(the world bundled with the game), it has a disproportionate n00b(aka snert) factor. There are much better worlds out there...

My recommendations are D2 and WoS, but you may have different tastes.

Oh, Furcadia might be decent if you can get into it.

furcadia is for heavy role play...you can create your own worlds but there is no combat or exp. point level system with skills or crafting...you create everything with your imagination...I enjoyed it 4 years ago

those kind of games are dumb, i think. if i wanted to pretend to be a wizard and not kill anyone, i'd go play with my little cousins in their backyard.

right but not to everyone....there are a lot of people out there that sometimes just want to relax and socially build thier char. with story and rp instead of going out on a 3 and a half hour level grind...I like both...just need a break sometimes....

I used to play some Knight Online, it was nice enough. Maybe it's still free, I dunno. Look it up if you want.

ok... muonline isnt that great, i play Forsaken, [ www.forsaken-mu.com if thats down try .org or .net] its mu with more classes, 50x exp ok drops and can go up to +13+40 on items[soon to be+16+40]
