Default Sin and Punishment Translation To English

I thought I would just take this opportunity to tell you all that I've finished my translation of Sin and Punishment. Go to my website for information on how to download and install this translation.

    Enjoy!

Hehe, should be fun. I found the game to be real great, albeit a bit too difficult for me, due to lack of ber skills and a proper controller.

Yeah and he used hires textures too, it's not just a translation. I'm not sure how much he did with the textures, but look at his shots, they look great.

AFAIK Vanit, you're the first to hack and translate a N64 game to English. And you released a complete patch, not a teaser, or menus-only patch.

Now the Whirlpool is going to have to add an N64 section--I'm sure (wraith) is going to be thrilled that you've given him extra work

Project64 screamed at me for missing the BMGLib.DLL from its main emu folder, so maybe you could add that to the readme. Also, that little black critter explaining Lock-On in the tutorial is still in Japanese.
Genius idea on translating and replacing the textures, though.

EDIT: Set the analog stick to mouse control... I just need to get rid of that pesky cursor. Godly.

The tutorial demo should be in English. Could you please take pictures and explain in what situations it spoke Japanese? Chances are I forgot to include one image and I have it sitting here waiting to be inserted.

Just a sec, pics are on the way. It's when that fluffy thing talks about aiming and shooting. If you let is speak a bit, it'll talk both about manual and lock-on aiming.
EDIT: My bad, you actually have to switch aiming modes.

And something else, it's not the tutorial demo, it's the training. Sorry if that confused you.

I checked it and no Japanese came up for me.

Could that be ROM dependant, or something?
Or rather, what should it say then? It starts out something like "Currently the aiming is "Lock-on type"...".
Or maybe the textures that are linked to on your site aren't the most up-to date, dunno. I checked and I copied all the files into the hi-res directory.

To get to this dialogue are you switching to lock-on mode very early in the training? That's the only trigger I can think of.

EDIT: Yep that's it. You're changing to lock-on mode in the split second you get a chance to move before the black thing opens with the introduction. I'll fix that when I get home tonight.
