wow, a site with games & a forum and they said it could never be done
.............lol
Any other suggestions though..........more themes?
Diffenrent smilies?
i want to know what could attract ppl?
I like this site, though I don't need any more games now and I don't have time
to write post on more that one forum, I think It's OK.
The layout is pretty neat and clean...but if you want some suggestions
I'd reccomend you to switch from plain HTML to some script languages
like php, perl,...
I know it could mean that you'll have to learn some additional programing stuff
but it's worth the price
For example you don't have to rewrite HTML code every time you write a news
onthe page you'll simply make yourself a submit window which allow you to add
news, then a function that after submitting it will save it to a file on the server, and
when you refresh your browser it'll rebuild your news site using that file...
There are many more things you can do with that that you cannot with plain HTML.
...also for page coding I heard that UTF-8 is reccomended
because it's "global" so Yeah you could try using it instead of ISO.
That's all from me. I hope you'll find it usefull.
You can always start out with PHPNuke or some other like that as they are quite easy to set up. And then you can just start learning PHP while having the site up and running smooth. I'm in the process of trying to get PHP language learned... but got blocked by the install of Apache server and all LOL... will keep on to it tho.
