Default Donkey Kong 64 ROM Problem

I'm running the Donkey Kong 64 ROM hosted on EmuParadise on Project 64 1.6 and, during gameplay, a portion of the character's skin will jump to the edge of the screen randomly. It is not a game-ending error but it is very annoying and I would love to get this fixed. Is there any way I can correct this problem? I was thinking it may be a graphical error or setting I may have to switch since the game needed that N64 upgrade pack to work in real life, although I have no idea, really. Any help would be appreciated.

hmm, I'm tempted to say play around with different plug-ins, I'll have to look at this a bit further as I haven't done N64 emulation for a while. I presume you are using the default?

It's a core issue, nothing to do with graphics plugins. CF2 which should be the default core setting lessens it to an extent, CF1 even more (though CF1 is slower, and prone to causing issues later on in the game).

It'll be fixed at some point in the future. I'll keep you updated.

May be worth trying Mupen to see if that does any better, though I really don't think it does.

warior-dream, sorry but that statement is wrong This is a core issue NOT a rom issue. Downloading goodroms or scanning existing roms with a checking utility such as GoodN64 is a good idea though.
