Default The EP PC Games Chart

Lets make a chart of the best Pc games of 2005.

List 3 games that you think was the best of 2005 and then tell us if you woul like to see another one.

    My games of 2005:-

Need for speed: Most wanted- A new entry, but it's really amazing and a step forward for the nfs series.

Quake 4: This game feels like im playing doom, but it plays back like a dream and you don't need a beefy computer to play it.

Worms Mayhem: wow... worms has done it again, with the failure of "worms forts" they had to pull something out there but to save the award winning party game after Forts left it in a pile of burning rubbish, bring on the pain!

What I would like to see next:-

I would like to see Nfs:MW but with drifting, and neons added to car pimping.
Would also like to see quake 4 engine being used for better fps games, like farcry2?

And as for worms, well onlything id like to see is starforce being removed from there next titles, even people that had the original game had major problems running it, I agree that companies want to protect the copying of there games, but there has to be a way that does not effect the people that actualy buy the game:/
That Dragon Tear is mines bitch!

I have only played quake 4 of the games you listed and I agree it seems quite fun, but I disagree you don't need a beefy computer (well my g-force 5700 might count as low-end these days?) whatever, its doom3 engine which is horrible if you have anything less than pretty fast hardware.

I much perfer the source engine technically than the quake 4/doom 3 engine, and I hope that any decent future games use it over the relatively unscalable doom 3 engine (in my opinion anyway.)

Now we know how viral bunny signatures really spread.

Same here, doom 3 plays smoothly in my pc but not quake 4 and Im using a sapphire ati radeon 9250.

    my 3 games:
-FEAR you must love this game pretty cool with the slowmo and scary in few cases.

-Quake 4 is great as well eventhough my pc doesnt run it well,a bit laggy I must say but its ok.

-And civilization 4,if you like the series though

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory - Still finishing up the game. The stealth just never gets old.

Quake IV - Shoot 'm up as it should be.

Call of Duty 2 - WW2 shooter as it should be. BiA my ass. Although some squad-options in CoD2 would have been nice

    Honorable Mentions:
Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 (Sue me ) - I am surely the only one who enjoyed the game. I forgive the lousy ending. The game was just tight.
Psychonauts - Great platforming on the PC is hard to come by these days and this game nailed it. Lost my save though
SWAT 4 - Tactical action as it should be. I liked the first few missions.

The videocard in the pc I have played these games was a GF FX5600 and most of the games ran pretty decent. I can't play FEAR the way I want to, because of the card.

    F.E.A.R.
If you don't count HL2, the best FPS I've ever played. Enjoyed every minute of it.

    Psychonauts.
Now, this is pure insanity. Hilarious.

And finally, PoP - The Two Thrones.
Actually, I haven't finished it yet, only played it for a few hours, but I like it so far.
