    XP. Well it will be when the bugs have been worked out as much as in 98.

    Windows XP by far, If you treat it right.. It'll never once crash on you.
    Windows 98 is awful next to XP... Once you use XP you'll never go back to any other Windows.

    xp is the best right now....but 98 is the most flawless...meaning hardly no bugs

    Xp all the way. I think I've had it crash a total of 5 times in all the time I've used it. Much better than 98 ever did.

    xp becuz its current, has new looking interface(iguess thats the word) ... also has better speeds then 98... but yet 98 has higher compatibility.... but in time xp will be 100% compatible....

    XP is definitely better, it has NEVER crashed on me, and the only reason it has lower SOFTWARE compatibility is because it is a Win2k core and uses an NTFS file system which doesn't permit some badly written programs to run.

    i have neither..so i dont know
    but i got the pro edition and tis a pain in the ass coz the toehrs look so much more focooler
    and im happy coz it plays all my songs
    and yea

    It depens on what your computer spec's are...
    I'm just a lurker these days, I feel like an 80 year old gramps, watching his grand children play outside *sigh*

    I also have both and prefer Windows 98, maybe it's because i have a Pentium II.

    well i havve win2000 and win98 dual boot, win2000 is much better than 98, so if XP is 2000 core then XP is much better.

    btw i havnt used XP much
