Best RPG Game for PSX

I was just wandering about and decided to make a pool and discover what is the best RPG in the opinion of the users of the forum.
I�m giving a small list, with the ones i could remember,
if your favorite isn�t in the list tell what is in a post.

I'll go with Valkyrie Profile and/or ToP. Final Fantasy isn't that great, I must say.

Gone with Legend of Mana I just love the look and music. No matter what I can look back at that game and say gorgeous, fun and fully entertaining. Also 2 player is fun.

allthough it's a great game I don't think Front Mission 3 deserves to be on the list as it's a TBS RPG, but Grandia certainly does.

should it be a "native" psx rpg?,if not,then final fantasy 6 beats them all,
and lunar should be in the list too.
if it's about "native" games only,then xenogears deserves the tile of the best
psx rpg ever. (it's not the best rpg ever just because of ff6,imo).
btw,legacy of kain blood omen 1 should be in the list too,and,
what's that thing that starts with "F" and ends in "VII" doing there in the list?,
I thought it was a "best psx rpg ever" poll,not a "most overrated overhyped CRAP ever" one.

Agreed with the non native ones belonging if they are allowed. I get the impression that it's only native ones (if not, add the Chrono Trigger remake). Chrono Cross, Suikoden (I never spell that right) series definantly belong on there as well.

Blood Omen IS NOT and RPG. Neither is Legend of Zelda. If you don't level up, its not an RPG it's a lighly disguised action game that trys to appeal to RPGamers. As for FFVII being the most overhyped crap, four words "Devil May Cry 2". We expected a diamond, we got a pile of feces. It was overhyped before it even reached stores. Some people would give that award to MGS2 ("Raiden? What happened to Snake?" and then "What were those designers smoking when they made that ending?"). But not me, I liked that game, although I wish it were more like MGS3 with the sensible story and a main character who is less whiny, and no nagging GF AI.

I was going to say the same thing. I don't feel Blood Omen counts as an RPG as much as it does an action game, but to me it is a very good game.
