Default I really shouldn't be doing this considering it called cheating

But hey I need some serious help. I have a project that is due on thursday. It's for geometry class, and what you have to do may sound simple at first, but then you figure out how hard it is to find something. Anyways, you must find representations of triangles located in nature... well anywhere. I need to examples for each type, and so far I have 5 types of triangles, and I need five more... but their sorta hard. Here's what I need pics of Right triangle, median of a triangle, altitude of a triangle, perpendicular bisector of a triangle, and centroid of a triangle. I've searched google but what mainly shows up is pictures of regular triangles. I need things in the world around you. Like the triangle that is made when you put your hand on your hip. I need to make a scrapbook with pictures of these triangles.

So like, you have to find these triangles in nature right? Go for a walk in a park or forest or something. Makes sense to me.

    /| - Right triangle

    /|\-Perpendicular bisector (I think)

    Altitude of triangle-triangle height ( I believe)

I think those are right.....I haven't done Geo in years

EDIT- I have no pics to contribute, I was just trying to clarify for anyone who can help.

    A right triangle? Like a pyramid? Here's a good one: http://www.ebibleteacher.com/images/pyramid.jpg

Centroid of a triangle? The only thing I can think of is a dream catcher, but that's not exacly in nature, and I can't really help you with any of the other ones.

Hope I was at least a little helpful.

Err how are you supposed to find the altitude of a triangle? Isn't that just the vertical height? So use a tree. When you say nature do you means plants and stuff or can you use buildings and clouds as well?

I would help you, I'm a math man, however, it is your school work. Most importantly YOUR work. If you don't do it you'll learn nothing (not that triangles in nature are especially important).

Think things like mountains, trees, rocks, etc. It shouldn't be very difficult.

haha, that is hard. And I know what hard is, I'm taking Linear Algebra now. We get to find the transformations that cause a particular fractal. This same class will be the last math class I ever, ever take.
