You have to have a DS Passme card for the DS slot, and a GBA Supercard for the ROMs.

avoid the supercard for DS the G6, M3 & Neo card range are the best and most compatable for NDS at the moment

P.S. there are 2 sticky threads in this section with more info including compatability list links

Something I forgot to note newer Nintendo DS consoles will not work with the standard PassMe hardware but there is a new Neo version of the PassMe hardware that does work with newer DS consoles

Magickey 2 and Magickey 3 work on the new DS hardware

I have a question for ya Zorlon

I am trying to convert a Divx file into the proper format to watch it on the GBA Media Player. I can convert it fine with the Conversion software, but the file is always about 400MB...about 140MB too big. I have version 1.3, and am currently downloading 2.2.

I also tried Meteo, but the .gba file didn't play...I just got a black screen...

(If there's a better place for this discussion, please direct me there )

    I don't know everything.

Meteo will work but just screws up the files if they are going to be bigger than 256Mbit/32Mbyte.

    if it's 400MByte it's actually 368Mbyte too big (ouch)

Hmm the GBA Movie Player uses CF or other cards (I don't remember off the top of my head) but they do have the space displayed in bytes not bits but most standard gba flash cards the size is in bits not bytes

he he nice it will be Mega bytes then CF cards are shown in bytes so thats a huge 2048Mbit.

Meteo will unfortionatly just mess up movies that are that big .

    http://www.supercard.cn/eng/index.htm

Your card has just had a firmware update by the way but it may just be for the DS side of things

P.S. I take it you are using the super card movie convertor then (oops it's the same prog)

what you can try is splitting the movie up but I guess that takes the fun out of it :/

Yeah, the firmware update is for NDS. The newer version of the GBA Converter software is labeled 2.20, but is actually 1.6. But, it has a nice wizard feature. I am converting a file now, so I'll know in about another 1.5 hours...

The Supercard in pretty neat for MP3, movie and such, but I still prefer a real Flash Cart, with real saves, and all that.

I spose the supercard is great for new starters it's the cheapest cart around on it's own specially if you have a CF card to start with from a camera or something, it does have some nice features but yeah I'll stick with a real gba flashcard for the compatability with saves, most the real ones have a near 100% compatability (patches needed for very few games)

If the supercard team looked at the gba compatabilty more aswell as DS it would be great as there updates are comming rather quick at the moment
