Need some help with burning this PSX game..

Well, Im trying to burn Hoshigami - Ruining Blue Earth

It burns well and good.. Im using Clone CD since my trial on Alco 120% ran out. The image was mounted to a virt drive and copied, the format was mdf/mds.

The write speed was at 4x, the lowest I can get it so all was written. However when poping it in my Playstation, it was recognized as an audio disc. The game was clearly copied and read as a Game disc according to Clone CD.

So I must have done something wrong somewhere, anyone have any ideas?

Try making an .bin image with cue sheet with Isobuster and burning later with Nero. MDF/MDS format is quite shoddy when burning without Alcohol, try this method, it should work fine.

also, is your psx modded or do you use some swap method to play backups?

No mods... well.. I have mod chip like devices that hook into the back of the ps1.. but I dont have the ps1 anymore. thanks Samur for your help, though I need help on how to do this. I never really used IsoBuster before

Open it, and select "extract < image >" , then, "RAW (.bin, .iso)", rename the file as you wish, and the cue sheet too. After is done, you can burn it with Nero. Enjoy.
