Default Getting VMU info for the DC now-a-days...

Quick question even though it's relatively stupid...

I got a high speed cable modem for my comp and I want to get online to get VMU files.
Is there an easy way like burning a cd with the info and hoping the DC reads it
or do I need to invest in a cable that will connect the DC to the Ethernet port on the modem
or find the broadband adapter for the damn DC
or some otherway that it cheap as hell that I'm not aware.

Thanks for any info for an otherwise idiotic question.

I think theres a way to connect your PC to the DC using a 56k port, not positive though. I know they were making a CD program to have saves on them, check the dcemu forums

Over at Dreamcast Forums, one of the members made a custom VMU Save CD, so you can load the CD, and pick what saves you want to transfer to the VMU. Me? I have the Nexus Memory Card for DC, which has a PC to VMU cable...

Just a note: Using WinRoute on Windows XP is not recommended...by me.

I tried WinRoute for Internet Connection Sharing, back before I had the router. I knew it worked well from my Windows 98 days, so I installed, and set all the parameters. It locked my PC in an infinite Restart, and (being the system was new back then) I called Tech Support. They verified WinRoute as a "problem" program, and suggested I buy a router.

Same here, I use a memory card that you can hook to the comp.
