Thread: Shawn Michael's PSX Love Shack

Default Shawn Michael's PSX Love Shack

That's right, I'll be uploading PSX games for those who want them. I would have posted this in the to trade for thread, but there isn't anything for trade that i want as far as PSX games go. I have all the PSX games i want/need so I'll just be uploading based on requests. If it's cool with the mods here, people who want games from my list can make the requests in this thread and not the usual request thread being that I don't normall even check there.

    HBK's PSX List:
    -Brave Fencer Musashi
    -Breathe Of Fire 3
    -Breathe Of Fire 4
    -Castlevania Symphony Of The Night
    -Chrono Cross
-Crash Bandicoot Compilation Disc (CB Games 1, 2 and 3 on one disc)
    -Dino Crisis
    -Dino Crisis 2
    -Final Fantasy 7
    -Final Fantasy 8
    -Final Fantasy 9
    -Final Fantasy Tactics
    -Legend Of LeGaia
    -Legend Of Mana
-Lunar 2 Eternal Blue (just the game discs)
    -Mega Man X4
    -Mega Man X5
    -Mega Man x6
    -Mortal Kombat 3
    -Mortal Kombat Trilogy
    -Parasite Eve
    -Parasite Eve 2
    -Persona 2
    -R Type Delta
    -Resident Evil
    -Resident Evil 2
    -Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
    -Spider Man 2
    -Suikoden
    -Suikoden 2
    -Tekken 3
    -Wild Arms 2
    -Xenogears

I do have a few other games on discs but I'm not sure yet if I'll be adding them or not as the ones I've listed here are my favorite PSX games. I'll also be making sections for actual rom packs I have and Dreamcast games. My method of uploading will primarily be YouSendIt.

I used to upload 600MB files with no problems on YSI but I see just about everyone now uploads in multiple compressed files so I'll let the public decide how they want their uploads to be done. I'll be updating the list as time goes by and as I get more games.

Update: I'll be adding Star Ocean The Second Story very soon.

This comment will be removed in a few days....

I have to say as a former dialup user, multiple RAR kicks butt (kind of like Mr. Michaels, but my shoes are smaller Been doing 28MB files myself, they seem to take much better with YSI and megaupload. Tend to break less during D/l as well. Someone said that certain filesizes (50MB, 100MB, etc.) work better on some of the services. It was a total b**ch to upload Burnout 3 with 50mb files. When I used 30MB with Onimusha 3, it was was quicker. On torrents, i also use 28MB in one directory. Dialup users give two thumbs up.

One giant archive is good enough for PSX games, as they tend to be relatively small. Multi-part archives are really only needed when it comes to PC or PS2 games.

Multiple compressed files is always better for both, the uploader and the downloader.
