I think oral sex should be considered losing half of your virginity. I mean, I know it's a really huge thing to even get or give oral, but I still don't think it has the same impact that full on intercourse has.

No, I don't think it works that way - oral is considered part of fore-play, which is a part of the act of sex, but you aren't losing half your virginity in the process. I have heard stranger things though, like this:
A kid I knew a few years back, who is probably about 4 years younger than me, engaged in a sex convo with me one time and mentioned that he has "gotten laid". I took it like everyone else would and assumed he's had sex. Well, later on down the line, he's pops up and tells me he's a virgin. I finally get it out of him and he claims whenever you "get laid", it means you got a blowjob. Apparantly highschoolers these days are confusing their sex terminology, as he swore to me up and down that his whole school uses that phrase. Whatever.

To those self-proclaimed "half-virgins" out there - quit making excuses for not getting any. If there's a such thing as a half virgin, then I would say the only people that qualify for it are the ones who have entered a girl, then pulled out after a stroke or so because someone wasn't ready, or it hurt, etc. I know a few people who have had an encounter like this, and I would say that's about as half virginated as you can get. Nothing like tasting the forbidden fruit then not being able to finish it.
