Hey, have you maybe got a pic of Morrigan dressed in only white cotton panties while playing Twister to the song "More, more, more" ??

I mean, you know, of course not that I'd want to SEE such a picture, thats gross, just curious as to if you HAD one....of course....cough...

*WARNING* As to AVOID any potential HURT feelings, fans of CERTAIN anime should stop reading NOW!*
(Or, alternately, you could just put on some super skinny jeans, listen to some old Cure albums, and sing "poo, poo, cry in my shoe" while staring hopelessly at the floor....)

Speaking on "random anime", WOW, is it somehow mandatory to use an anime or anime-esque character for your avatar here? Am I missing something? Nothing against the medium, mind you, I was a fan myself, before the onslaught of just god AWFUL kiddie-oriented crap that began oozing onto American network TV in the 90s. (I wont mention any names as to not offend, but ohhhhh man, what a load of SLUDGE 90% of this 'modern' crap is!)
I'll blame Pokemon for this degration of a fine Japanese art form, because IT seems to be the source of the "capture" or "master of something"-based kiddie anime. After having viewed WAY too much of this stuff while in the company of younger family members over the years, I have determined that the vast majority of it is pretty well near retardation level in terms of writing and overall quality. Poke this, Digi that, Yugi whatever, ballsack this, bakublechh whatever....ughhh...mind numbing. Has anyone here SEEN those 'Bakugan' toys?? ...Are they actually DESIGNED to retard children's development? Speaking as someone that comes from a Star Wars, Masters of the Universe, ThunderCats, etc. generation, this all strikes me as very sad

Back in MY day, we had GOOD stuff with beautifully hand-rendered animation, immortal works of art such as:
Ninja Scroll! Bio Hunter! Appleseed!! Akira!!! Fist of North Star!! Darkside Blues!! Vampire Hunter D!!

I am getting the distinct vibe that I am in the minority here in terms of age .......Or maybe there are just a TON of folks my age that love engorged, highly stylized tits??

DAGNABBIT!! You damned kids get OFFA my LAWN!!
If you don't like recent shounen anime, don't watch shounen anime. Almost everything you've listed has been targetted at young boys, so it's going to be kiddie. There's plenty of darker and more adult stuff that comes out, just search for seinen anime. It's targetted at adult men. So there may or may not be blood, boobs, etc. And you could always watch Satoshi Kon's (RIP) stuff. They're always somewhat psychological.

I love these threads; they always give me a reason to clean up my desktop

We got so much in common, except when it comes to rhyming
She feel like lyrics are so intrusive, but I feel about her the way she feels about music
She's cute, she don't like the words, she just likes the beat and I'm thinking me too

Went against my usual tendency towards fanservice holiday wallpapers and made something that's just cute instead.

New desktop, courtesy of Christmas. Oh, and a massive collection of desktops that I either got from Gare or Evans way back when.

    Spoiler warning:
