Unable to download from the main site

Using DAP along with FireFox, I tried to d/l various ROM's, ISO's, and such. However, I merely recieve this message when I try:

The operation timed out when attempting to contact 70.85.9.138.

How can I access the files through the website, or, barring that, get to them at all?

I am a bit of a newbie on the site, so bear with me.

Not sure if this applies to all downloads on the site but you can only download 1 file at a time
