    Default ePSXe weirdness?

    When i was using ePSXe to play FF7 i noticed the game was going a bit fast, but then i remembered how to fix it from the graphics option, however, when i exited ePSXe to make this changes, the game's music, DIDNT stop!!! it kept going, and looping over and over, ePSXe was DEFINATELY off! the sound didnt go away till i restarted, anyone know what caused this?

    You need to exit the program by pressing esc then turning it off. I presume you closed the program down first? if not I;m not sure

    press ctrl alt delete, then click the processes tab and close epsxe. this only works on windows xp though. but it will fix the problem if the music keeps looping after the programs shut down

    Theo probably meant to do ESCAPE, and not ETC. So yeah ESC and the File->Exit.

    I had the same problem once when i exited by terminating the process.I had to restart the system though in order for the music to stop playing in the background.

    If you mounted the game to Daemon Tools, then you have to unmount the game from Daemon Tools to stop the music.

    I had the problem before, when playing in windowed mode, exiting by clicking the "x" instead of the right way. I just ended the process and the music went away. (BTW star ocean's music is terrible when looped like that)

    Close ePSXe by File--->Close

    NOT BY PRESSING 'X'.

    Note that this only effects ePSXe 1.5.2 on Windows 2000/XP/2003 platforms.

    PSXeven is a very nice emulator.
    To be honest, I don't know why everyone thinks ePSXe is so much better.
    To me they seem almost the same in overall quality.
    Like 1a and 1b.
    However there are a few games that ePSXe can play (or play better) than PSXeven, and vice versa.
    And there's at least one game that neither can play properly (Shadow Madness) that PCSX plays perfectly.
    And would you believe there a few games I've only gotten to work in ConnectixVGS?
    I wouldn't give up on ePSXe so easily, but if you prefer PSXeven, that's fine.
    But if you find a game that doesn't work in PSXeven, then ePSXe (or some other emu) may be the answer.
