Good News for GTA: San Andreas

Its been announced yesterday that Rockstar released San Andreas edition #2 and got rid of that sex hack. So it shall be on shelves throughout the globe everywhere again soon.

for those who didnt know, GTA was rated from its M rating to an AO (adult only) because of a sex scene that people were using a cheat to access then it got banned but it is now back.

i'm glad gta san andreas will be back. i am a big fan of the gta series and really enjoy playing san andreas. but i think it is crappy that rockstar was backed into that corner by a few ultra-conservatives.

Yeah I keep hearing about that thing but I never knew the exact details of how it got found out, I heard it was something you could only get if you hacked the game a ton. Anyone care to clarify the details, not on how to do it, but on what exactly it is and all that.

Nope did not require alot of hacking at all.. The code was allready there... all the patch did was fix it so that it ran that existing code.

I give it a week till someone releases a counter patch to install the parts of the game that they took out.

Then of course it wouldnt matter because the code wasn't there in the first place.

Well yes... I did not mean to say that Rockstar would get in trouble for it. I just meant that this whole strugle will be in vain.

if i remember correctly, some stores said that they wouldn't even carry the game once they released the new version. so technically, it probably won't be available at as many places as it was before.

this is true, certain places are keeping it entirely banned for reasons.. but i'd imagine EB would re-stock and most rental places

This whole hot coffee debacle is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard, you'd think Rockstar had included the main character rogering a Horse the way people have gone all hysterical about the thing.

well the game is already rated 18 by the bbfc in the uk,

and they havent recalled any copys at all
on any format
