    A. Yes, you can save as you would on a normal PS1.

    B. Press Esc. That will halt execution and bring you back to ePSXe.

    C. Dunno, never had any use for such things.

    D. Thats a new one for me. What plugin & OS are you using?

A)Can you convert a saved state to a save game?

B)i meant like unload the iso or game so i can start another.Cause the way i see things i have to exit completely and the re execute ePSXe to run another game.

    D)I'm Using P.E.O.P.S. CDR 1.4 and I'm on win2k3 server.
It's just that my dvd-rom drive has been damaged and since i have a laptop i'm using an external case and have mounted a dvd-rom there. And the time i was configuring the cdr plugin the case was powered-off.I powered it back on and restarted epsxe but by no means does it diaplay the E: drive.

    EDIT:That's what i'm talking about:

    A. No A savestate cannot be converted into a memcard savegame (I believe, someone correct me if I'm wrong)

    B. You could use a frontend, like Delta or ePSXeCutor.

    D. I don't believe that is a ePSXe problem. any drive reported by your system should appear. Have you tried disabling DaemonTools?

    C. Use [pec]
    http://www.emucheater.com/

    D. Deleting the registry entries for ePSXe and then re-installing ePSXe might solve that problem.

    Well I have an idea.
Do you have your external drive connected via IDE or
do you have it connected via USB or any other method??

This may be the problem of CDR plugin, I'm not sure but if the
plugin can detect only drives connected via IDE it won't work
if your external drive use other connection method...

    This is just an idea.

For now I cannot think of any other solution than to hook your
CD-ROM onto IDE cable if it's possible of course or find a plugin
    that support your CD-ROM.

    Unfortunately I don't think it's possible if it's a laptop.

I wonder if the problem is that you're running W2K3 server, and the plugin was made for W2K/XP?
Well, maybe you could try other cdrom plugins until you find one that, hopefully, works for you.
    Search through this page:

Well in another forum the answer i got was that theplugins aren't made to support external drivves!

I tried the plugin on my desktop PC and it recognized my drive but in the laptop it just won't and that's stupid dammit!

Why wouldn't it support an external drive is what i can't figure out!

    Have you tried another plugin?

There are other ones like CDR Mooby that are pretty good:
