    Default No Sound On ePSXe.

Hey guys i just finished configuring my ePSXe using the settings from this topic http://forums.emuparadise.org/showthread.php?t=26432 and i get no sound when i load the isos!

    I tried both -P.E.Op.S. SPU Plugin v1.9
-Eternal SPU Plugin v.1.41/Eternal SPU Plugin v.1.50 Beta

    and no sound came out!

    Do you any solution?

That's strange...i googled it and another guy here http://vogons.zetafleet.com/viewtopi...377941cacf9ce1 said that he had sound problems on tomb raider 1 videos and soted it by enabling "MDECXA"

In the guide i posted on the first post there's no mention to such action,so there seems to a problem.

What do you guys have to say?

Enable CDDA and/or XA sound. It's under the Config > Sound menu.

If you're using Eternal SPU 1.50 Beta swith back to 1.41
cause this beta have some problems while producing sound
    especially during cutscenes (FMV).

Hmm. That depends on game sometimes, but mine are in order:
Device: Direct Sound, Buffer: 32, Audio out method: SPUAsync, Async mode: Smooth.
Checked "Wait for XA buffer free" and if I play some games from SquareSoft
or ToD, Valkyrie Profile or any other mentioned in Eternal I use special game fixes.
(That need sometimes to have the fourth checkbox enabled under "Config->Sound"
    Menu)

The Game i'm using is Echo Night 2.

    I'm using the same settings.

    2 questions:
A)What's the buffer size?If bigger than 32 then what?

B)Also there eternel 1.41 and eternal 1.41 lite. The first is the better one?

    A) Usually try to keep your buffer between 32-64 cause if it's too small
the voices will be glithy and if it's too large it'll take too much time to acces
and it may cause problems too.

B)Lite version don't have config if I'm not mistaken???
And yes normal version is better.

Sorry but I don't have Echo Night 2 so I couldn't test it.
It may be emulation error too so you may try different emu if you like
    like PSXeven...

Well you can use PCSX, PSXeven, AdriPSX.
SSSPSX (???I'm not sure the name) is the newest and seems to be improving
rapidly, but it needs a processor that has SSE2 instructions. (Pentium4, Athlon64??)

I used SSSPSX and it seems to me like sound has improved!Though i can't see it to have a shortcut for save state and that bothers me!

Also can you convert a saved state to a save file so that i can load the ePSXe saved state to SSSPSX?

I laso tried AdriPSX,but it had a lousy interface!

I can run SSSPSX on my PIII which only has SSE, not SSE2.

Maybe you were thinking of SSF? (Saturn emu)
You do need SSE2 for that one.

Oh. So I was wrong...that's good cause I wasn't using SSSPSX because
I don't have SSE2 either, and now I'm going to try it.
