Xenosaga Episode III announced!

Xenosaga Episode III takes place one year after the events of Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Boese (Beyond Good and Evil). The game will finally shed some light into the mysterious past of series protagonist Shion Uzuki, thereby offering a conclusion to the epic storyline. Following the end of Episode II, Shion has left Vector Industries and joined an underground organization. She also learns that Vector has decided to end the KOS-MOS project. This poses further questions about the intentions of Vector Industries' president Wilhelm. Furthermore, a mysterious android named T-elos will appear in front of Shion in Episode III. The main cast has remained unchanged, with Jr., MOMO, Ziggy, KOS-MOS and Co. all making their return in the series' third installment. One of the keys to Episode III's story will be the question of whether or not KOS-MOS actually possesses a soul. Players will also learn why she is protecting Shion under any circumstances.

And it's on the PS2 to boot. Share your enthusiasm xenofreaks.

Eh. After last year's fiasco, I'll probably rent this, finish it and never look back at it. or maybe I'll buy it finish it and STILL never look back at it. The only way I'll be a fan again is if they GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SCRIPT.

I'm a huge Xenosaga fan and nearly cried when they announce that episode three will be it's last installment. If they went back to the original script they would've have to kill off the series so damn early. This is very depressing, for me anyways.

Monolith brought the series to its own demise. This wouldn't have happened if they hadn't made bad decisions such as firing all the original staff. Sad news indeed. =\

Have you heard about Xenosaga DS(now titled Xenosaga I+II)? It's a remake of both the games put onto one for the DS obviously. I can't wait Xenosaga on the go will be sweet.
