Default What are you afraid of?

Yeah. Pretty much everyone has some great fear, be it arachnophobia or fear of speaking in public, so what's yours?

This is of course just so I can get proper data on people to oppress them once I've taken over the world, so please go along with it.

Dogs. Pretty weird. (I can see some 'Bow wow! Now cower in fear, scum!' posts coming already...')

I am afraid of Wasps and slightly spooked by daddy long legs. Though Moths come very close to being on my afraid list I'm not afraid to kill them if they invade my room at night while i'm reading, it gets very annoying and my light is very close next to me (I have a high rise bed but with usable space underneath) so they end up flying very close to me too.

Also although this will never be like me, my class Tutor at College is terrified of Cats if you can believe that, I know dogs can be scary at times (especially if its the expensive guard dog breed) but Cats can be way less scary or dangerous than Dogs. I can understand if its being afraid of what Cats were (Lions/Leopards/Panthers) but Dogs were also wild kilers as Wolves (my favourite type atm) so it's kind of strange to see something cute and peaceful like Cats instill fear into the hearts of men.

On the seventh dawn of the seventh day a twice-blessed man will roam the fields. Doomed to shadows with his brethren, or saviour to all who walk the ground.

One word, "Spiders". Those little creepy crawlers make me shiver everytime I see one.

    Hmmmm...

Heights, spiders (very mild, but if one lands on me...), speaking in public, large crowds, any animal larger than me (galloping riderless horses in particular), heavy traffic while I'm driving, making a fool of myself...

    That will do for starters.

I've been thinking about this, but am still not sure how to answer.

Well Skinner, why don't you enlighten us all with a bit of your own fears...

Most bugs freak the shit out of me, wasps and spiders being the most scary. Also, I'm not a fan of heights.

Speaking in public is hard, even if what you speak of is something you are passionate about.
Large crowds? I find it less boring when there is more people.
Driving is annoying, When taking lessons I hate having to drive down busy roads, perticulary on a hill.
We all make fools of ourselfs, except me, im to good looking.
