Kind of a love song...

Expect this Music section to get reeeeeeally filled up with my writing since there is no section for me to put them. (Read the Comments and Suggestions section of EP if you don't know what I mean)

So I guess this is kind of a love song...not a hello or sweet goodbye.
Because that strap on you had...it really drove me mad...

Believe me, I write far more serious songs than this but I was having fun...
It isn't about sexuality, it's the twist in the lyrics...kind of a...

Broken Glasses

I used to see the world around me as someplace I could fight...
To try to prove that I was right...even when I was wrong.
But time goes by, you laugh, you cry and eventually you see...
There was nothing...to be fighting for so long.

Cause when it all goes down...and you take a look around...
Maybe you'll find that the one thing no one knows is...
All your dreams...are made of what you make them mean...
And even broken glasses are...some times made of roses.

I used to feel I could save the world and make everything okay...
If I could find the words to say...everyone would smile.
But I found no words that made everyone somehow healed...
I prayed and I even kneeled every once in a while.

But when it all comes down...to when you take a look around...
Maybe you'll find that the one thing no one shows is...
All their dreams...are not the person you think you've seen...
Their broken glasses just might be made of roses.

I found some rose colored glasses...broken on the street...
Too bad that they belonged to someone that I never got to meet.

Just start a poetic lyrics/poems thread. I have a few that I alredy wrote, some new ones comes as time pass. I don't mind posting them here if someone also does.

I have a few more songs I was going to post but the way this thread is set up people won't notice I wrote a new one...
They tend to read the first post of a thread and then comment on it...
I have a song stuck in the middle of this thread now called 'Broken Glasses' that no one even noticed cause it wasn't at the top, but apparently I can't make new threads for comments on different songs.
For that matter, each person who writes a song is apparently supposed to post them in this thread which seems to me odd since it would be either not giving them appreciation for what they write or...they are hijacking my song thread.
Oh well...I guess I'm done posting songs...hope you like the 2 I did post though...
