If you mean DC images. I've seen them come in .cdi, .bin .cue, .mds .mdf, .ccd .sub .img.
If you mean burning original DC games, the best way I believe is to use a broadband adapter and connect your dc console to a computer to do it that way. Which way are you talking about?

It depends on the image format. I will tell you which images certain programs can burn. Files in brackets mean those images have to be together when burning.
    Alcohol 120%: .[MDF/.MDS], .[BIN/.CUE], .[CCD, .IMG, .SUB]
    Clonecd: [.CCD, .IMG, .SUB]
    DiscJuggler: .CDI
Nero: .NRG Note: this is the only image I've seen used that corresponds with Nero so there may be more.
I think I named most of the popular ones. Dreamcast games are either self bootable, or non bootable. Selfboot games will have 2 sessions and nonboot 1. You will need a boot cd to play nonbootable games. This page explains a little about that and how to make games selfboot. http://www.emuparadise.org/vbulletin...ad.php?t=23311 Hope that helps.

When you download the file it will be ziped or winRar'ed or archived some way (well should be) So just use the specific program to unpak this

Also to reduce file sizes some people will make the Music tracks .mp3's
so you will need a converter to change these to WAVS
    Ok after that

you will get an Image in .nrg, .cdi ect.

    The programs i use
Al120% Best to use burns everything i've thrown at it.
Nero Good for .nrg (comes with alot burners)
    DiskJuggler for .cdi (FREE !)

    In general
What you need to do is click the Burn image button- then just hit brows to find your downloaded image and go.

ALSO I pose this Question, when I made DC backups my DC finds it hard to read the data. Any programs out there that can put dummy data on the disk?
