Yeah, I would've thought that would be the case as well, or at least I hoped it would be, but then I had to not only go through the level again, but go through each step of the final battle again. It would've been alright had it just made me go through the entire battle again, but to have to slog through the level over and over was just plain annoying.

Oh, and I don't recall what difficulty I played it on. Whatever the default is, I guess. I probably played it on the easiest mode, but since I can't side-step for shit, I kept getting hit when the last form would spin around really quickly from one side of the arena to the other.

On a related note, what's a good strategy for the final form anyway? I keept shooting it, but not getting much damage done on it.

That's just plain mean. :O Normal is the easiest difficulty. Then comes veteran and when you complete the game you unlock hypermode difficulty.

    Metroid Prime 3 Spoilers:
    Spoiler warning:
The Aurora Unit's weak point is the the back of the head. The easist way to do some real damage is to stun it first and then strafe to the back and fire a charged beam. There are a couple of ways to stun the AU. You can shoot the cannon that comes out of the bottom, shoot at the opening that fires the homing balls at you (not 100% if that's how you do it. It's possible that the AU might be automatically stunned without you doing anything) or Screw attack it when it's spinning around. It's also possible to hit the weak spot when it's shooting the four lasers. But it's somewhat harder.

As for how to avoid the different attacks... the shockwave is easy, just jump. The lasers is a little tricker but if you stand below it you should be fine. When it's spinning around either Screw attack the AU to stun it or quickly strafe to either side by Locking onto the AU and pressing Left/Right + B. Those homing balls of light I have no idea how to avoid though...

    Dunno it this'll help you...

Hmm... I think I beat Shadowman 2 a week ago. Not as bad as I thought it would be (I even braced myself, honest!), but short. Little backtracking = sweetness, though... Strawberry-kinda sweetness... Yummay!

Finished the last case of Phoenix Wright 3, and it is confirmed. Godot is probably the best prosecutor, for all that ~SERIOUS SPOILER EXCERPT~ (or perhaps partially because of it). And I know that the shippers are having fun with Phoenix/Maya, Phoenix/Fransizka, and even...ah, who am I kidding, especially Phoenix/Edgey, but I think Phoenix and that person in particular would be the best together.
Oh, and just for amusement factor, I'll throw in Fransizka/Adrian. That whip? Those credits.

Also (serious spoiler image from 3-5 alluded above: do not look if you haven't finished; you have been warned)...
    Spoiler warning:

Very direct approach to crime-fighting against that evil, evil Dahlia. Very shiny, for all that she was being channelled. Even if there was more he could have done, like for instance just taking the note entirely rather than letting Pearly have it.

Heh, three posts in such a short span; I am being far more fannish than I have been in such a long time.

Just beat Shining Force, and also beat all the numbers of opponents on all difficulties on Risk (seemed way too easy to me).

Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. Awesome, awesome game. Took me nearly 14 hours to beat, too. Definitely not a short game.

I just beat Shining Force 2. I wish my computer could handle Saturn emulators so I could play the other Shining Force games... Or that I could find and afford the console and games...

edit: Ah well... I'm supposed to be getting a laptop through financial aid (college courses I'm gonna be taking require a better computer than I currently have) so maybe it'll be powerful enough.
