Because if so, I'm probably going to wait a bit longer before touching that one.

There's a limit to how much sadness and blueballing I can take in a year. And I've already exhausted most of my supply.
Yes and no. It concludes Touko's story, but also leaves two other character's whereabouts unknown. Sequel hook ahoy.

In case you want the spoilery details head over to my blog.

Edit: Yeah, actually, don't do that. You'll probably read it yourself eventually and I'd hate to spoil it for you. Needless to say it's a healthy mixture of happy endings and SUPER DESPAIR, as you would expect from IG.

    ....

Cartagra sequel, or is this some random other set of characters?

    Because that could be alright.

'cept there won't be a brothel this time.

    Which is sad.

In any event, that's about as close to closure as this writer ever gets. "This story is done now, stay tuned for my next story, which I just teased!". Dick.

The two missing characters were newly introduced characters in KnS2 so probably the third game won't be a Cartagra sequel. Not that I've read Cartagra, but still. In fact, the entirety of KnS2 is pretty much just its own standalone game, so I expect the next one to follow that example. 95% of the story is spent on a brand new murder investigation, and the whole Touko thing only comes up in the last hour or so, just so the author could say "see? I didn't forget about her! here's your epilogue, now fuck off".

KnS2 itself has connections to Cartagra, though, if my Google searches can be trusted. A religious cult called Senrikyou is reformed and makes a return here. And a chick called Aoki Touji also shows up.

    I'm on fire!

    Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4
Tomb Raider Underworld (not bad but I liked Legends more)
Virtue's Last Reward (the true ending leaves way too many unsolved questions...)

Just finished Chrono Cross for PSX. I hadn't played this game probably since it was released - total nostalgia trip

Game still holds up well today.

    RE fanboys gonna fanboy.

@Flava: What ending did you get?

Yakuza 2. Now to acquire Yakuza 3.

I got the "official" ending, the one where you get all 6 elements in the right order than seal up the devourer with the Chrono Cross.
It's really nothing too fancy, but it's a hell of a lot quicker than just beating on the dude

Fable III on 360 in co-op, ending is utter shite! Game itself is so-so.

Call of Juarez Bound in Blood on PS3. I loved this game in 2009, and playing it today, it's really crap. Rose tinted glasses I think.

Just finished The Last of Us.

    Wow.

This is definitely the watermark for Naughty Dog - it's going to be hard to top this one, especially in terms of story and character development. Here's hoping they only get better from this point on!

Call of Juarez Bound in Blood (PS3) the other day. Nowhere near as good as I remembered it to be. The duels also pissed me off so much.
