    (PC) Sin Episodes: Emergence

And after playing this game I finally realize why they never made the rest of the planned episodes.

    1.) It's short
    2.) It sucks
3.) If you can't find a reason to hate this game on your own refer back to # 1 and 2

Bottomline: Not even worth a bootleg.

Tales of Destiny (remake), and before that, Haunting Ground. ToD was excellent, even though I never played the original. HG was kind of... well, average. I wouldn't say it's bad, just not that awesome.

The original ToD is just legendaric - a wonderful game full of mood. Not that the remake is bad either -- it's very good. Try the original later Gare, its more than worth it.

I probably will, to see the differences compared to the remake. And also because that one is not Japanese-only.

Actually, I haven't tried the english original myself Only the Japanese release. And played through it three or so times. The last time was only a month or so ago.

Beat Penumbra: Overture. The longest garage game episodic series survival horror game I've ever played!
But no seriously, it was like 3 times longer than HL2: Episode 1, for comparison. Really satisfying. It was a bit low on polish in some areas (like moving around boards and such for puzzles), but overall it was excellent fun, really creepy, and by GOD the voice acting and dialogue for the character Red was unbelievably fucking perfect.
I made a video of one puzzle of the game (A giant breaking lake of ice), but Filefront raped it. http://files.filefront.com/Penumbra_.../fileinfo.html

As I was walking down the stair,
    I met a man who wasn't there.
    He wasn't there again today.
    I wish, I wish he'd go away.

Mm, the remake is, for all purposes, about a thousand times better than the original. But there's something kind of nice about the original. I think snkupo's 'full of mood' statement sums it up quite well. There's just something quite likeable about it that was, in my opinion, missing from the remake, vastly superior though it was. So I'd recommend that you give the original a go too. Just don't expect a game of...quite the same caliber as the remake.

Finished Blazing Star for the first time the other day. Really, really pretty shooter.

I just finished Breath of Fire 3. Pretty good, but it left me with a lot of questions.

Try Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter, if you can. It's awesome. Gamerankings.com gave it an average of 78%, but they're all fags.

It's on The List(TM) of RPGs I need to play. Have to finish 4 first.

I've beaten S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Unlocked three endings. It was kind of boring, though, because it required just going forward and killing at least a hundred enemy soldiers to get to the final room.
