    Default The "Rep" System

With all these people uploading for Yousendit, isn't it about time we allow for more reps. I mean once you give rep you can't give it again. But, yet the same people upload great stuff one after the other. For example, Epsilon uploaded three things I've been looking for yet I can only give hime one rep, how about Xena, she uploads all sorts of cool stuff, yet I can only give her one rep. I think that it's high time that we fix this problem, especially in the wake of the YouSendIt and MegaUpload link threads. A lot of the users agree with me, so please fix it?
^There was my ten cents 'cause my two cents is free.

I would have to disagree, it would make it easier for 2 or more "leechers" to give each other a load of rep.

Seconded, The rep system is supposed to give more of a global perspective so to get alot of rep alot of people have to like you.

That may be so, but I find it annoying that I have to give 20 ppl rep before I can give rep to the same person. Maybe if that number could be lowered just a tad.

EDIT: Thanx for the support JohnnyBlaze!

The reputation system is, as Vivi says, more of a global thing - the trading sections of the forums aren't the only ones there are, and until it'd be better for mostly all parts of EP to have those settings changed, I think they should stay the way they are. It's unfair enough as it is that a person who does nothing on here but upload games all day can have a much higher amount of reputation points than a brilliant debater who just doesn't get points from nearly as many people but may very well be more deserving of them, anyway.

Ive gotten rep from admin's before, here is my rep 414 points let me divide this up:

About 150 for talking/debating blah blah....
    about 160 from admins
    The rest from uploading games.
when I was a noob I asked for rep, but not for a long while and not ever again either.

Hmm, I don't think it sucks cause it lets you know what ppl think about you. Plus, many other boards make mods so that they can have the rep system. Many forums make full use of it and find it essential. But everyone has a different opinion, right?

The rep system is just kind of pointless. As long as you don't care how much your rep is...which I don't see why anyone should.

*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here
