Mame Emulator or any other emulator (Need Help) !

I keep downloading the mame emulator but I don't know how it works. I double click the icon but nothing happens why !
Do I need certain plugins, if so what ?
If you could send me a working emulator preinstalled components I would appreciate that !!!!~

but no roms can be downloaded there only emulators ok

Try MAME32. Normal MAME doesn't have a GUI. MAME32 does.
