Question Burning CD-Image for PSX issue

Okie here i goes with lostof doubts here and there.

the img goes to wide range as in
B5I, B5T, IMG, SUB, CCD, CUE, BIN, MDS, MDF, ISO

compression types is also alot
zip, rar, lzh, 7z, ace, z01.zip, 7z.001 (hope someone dun come up here with a exe compression)

Lets cover the burning part 1st since so far i dun have problems with compression yet.

1 of the post said in (YSI comments only)
those who creating CCD format for people burning shouldn't use alcohol 120%
as for (track mess up not suitable for console)
-But all the while if i see 4 files (CCD, cue, img, sub) i pickup ccd. is that better if i pickup cue to prevent trouble? (using alcohol 120%)

sometimes files comes with only ISO. what will you do to burned it for console? (am i wrong)
I worried it got problem (happen to me once for gradius no music when burn directly) now i use ISObuster select that ISO click that 1st icon after it shows file. create (bin, iso) and create cue sheet.

What happens again if theres only a "game.IMG".
i never succeed in burning this 1 file with a perfect game.

What happen when B5I, B5T?
I take an extra steps like ISO using ISO buster recreated.

Is that possible to check a file in NTSC or PAL before burned?
i tried checking the IDS after mount image but it won't work if the game is patch to opposite. also selecting country in an emulator shows up color either choosing auto, ntsc or pal. looking at mount ID only owkrs if the game is it is following original SLXX_XXX.XX, if checking unmodify file using console can see license "sony computer enterainment INC/america/eu"

how to check if the game is rip before WRITE?
i have not much ways to check other than mounting it see SIZE outside which produce by cue, go inside drag all files and properties and recheck size again. (my method only works for rally cross 2 (lol))

How to check if that file have modified license logo and text (boot up)
i have no ways other than burned it and see or mount, open SLXX_XXX.XX with note pad and see the text if is there.

extra to take note: sometimes YSIget or YSI explorer download attempts to finished the file before 100% i got this today when extracting medievil 1 ntsc with a 7z CRC error and i look again found 1 (middle).part 40+mb rather than 50mb sharp like the rest. but redrag that url will help.

But also when 7zip gives CRC error sometimes winrar is able to extract but i burned those and forget which. mostly this types of files is 7z.(part) inside (part).rar

My compressing tool: window default explorer extract, 7z, winrar
My Burning tool: window default, nero 6 express, alcohol 120%, CloneCD, MagicISO
others need: ISO Buster.

What am I still short of? sometimes some submitters say USE "XXXXX" to burn or extract but i didn't bother because above is really alot to me already, lastly is just burning few games to play =/ why need so much programs to let things work fine.

Thanks for your reading.

Here's how to tell if a NTSC game has been patched to PAL:

Open ePSXe.
Go to Config > Video > Configure, and set your Graphics plugin like this:

Now play an NTSC game in ePSXe.

In the upper-left you should see a number.
That number may fluctuate, but as long as it stays at 59.9 then the game is NTSC (not patched to PAL)
If the number never goes above 50.0, then it has been patched to PAL.

You can also use this method to check if a PAL game has been patched to NTSC.
When you play a PAL game, if the number is 50.0, then it's PAL (not patched to NTSC)
If the number goes up to 59.9, then it's been patched to NTSC.

wow because i always used connectix to test before burned didn't know epsxe display frames might help.

as for me epsxe is either running too fast or too slow when the games play
(pete's openGL 1.76)
, so i choosen connectix when no config is needed as the game will runs as per normal like in console although epsxe has better graphic (enchanced) but for me it freezes time to time.

thanks for that new tips, i will changed my old style and use epsxe and show display for testing in future. hey let me join your user group (lol) i want "just say no to rips".
