Default Sound issues when burning discs! Help

Ok, so I got a PS2 game off the torrent section here called Mushihimesama for the PS2. It's a shooter, remniscent of Do Don Pachi, incase you aren't sure what I'm talking about. So, I burn it onto a DVD, and when I pop it in the ps2, I don't get any sound! I haven't seen a problem like this yet, and I've successfully burned over 40 discs probably. The game runs fine, but like I said, zero sound.

Here's how I burned it - Unrarred it first, then mounted ISO with D-tools, used DVDdecrypter and extracted it to my hard drive. Then, I used decrypter again to burn it to disc at 1x. This has never failed me before - do i maybe need to tick som analog audio option somewhere or something? I remember having issues with don pachi over my emulator, and having to switch something under d-tools allowing me to get a different audio track. Well, if anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks!

Are you sure the game isn't a rip?

Pretty sure - it isn't exactly a large file to begin with. Is there any way to tell if it's a rip? We're talking a game with PS1 graphics more or less - I can't imagine people ripping this thing up.

you'd be amazed what you can find rips of. I had a rip of Dance Dance Revolution 2nd mix that was totally unplayable without the music.

well crap - i guess it's another wasted disc. is there any way to be for sure if it's a rip or not though? I mean, can I run it through a program or is there a telltale sign that it's be ripped? If not, then i'll just toss the disc and no more time wasted.
