    Coconut and the vowels are correct, indeed. Only 3 and 7 remain.

    Indeed...and it was really annoying when one of those got into my first Narnia book when I was a child. Rather surprising, too, when I opened the book and it fell into my lap.
    Well, one (7) left.

    And that's the last correct answer.

    Anyone else have riddles? I can post more if you'd like. Sorry, linkinkampf19, but I couldn't figure out yours, though.

    I'll post some riddles if you are all game:

    1)
    There is a thing that nothing is,
    and yet it has a name.
    It's sometimes tall and sometimes short,
    joins our talks and joins our sports,
    and plays at every game?

    2) How much dirt is in a hole that is 3 ft deep, and 6 inches in diameter?

    3) An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man bought?

    4) A man was outside taking a walk when it began to rain. He did not have an umbrella and he wasn't wearing a hat. His clothes were soaked, yet not a single hair on his head got wet. How could this happen?

    5) This thing all things devours:
    Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
    Gnaws iron, bites steel;
    Grinds hard stones to meal;
    Slays king, ruins town,
    And beats high mountain down.

    and one more why not...

    6) I give you a group of three.
    One is sitting down, and will never get up.
    The second eats as much as is given to him, yet is always hungry.
    The third goes away and never returns.

    Good luck to you all and please no cheating, you only ruin the fun!

    PS. Anybody who gets one right will recieve rept. points from me

    I'll add some for you guys

    1. What is it that, after you take away the whole, some still remains?

    2. I have hands that wave at you,
    Though I never say goodbye.
    It's cool for you to be with me,
    Especially when I say, "HI."
    What am I?

    3. When I am filled,
    I can point the way;
    When I am empty,
    Nothing moves me.
    I have two skins,
    One without and one within.
    What am I?
