Default Lunar: TSS Sega CD Sound Emulation

Whee. Havin' all sorts of trouble with this lately.

I've noticed that when I run Gens (V. 2.11), with a lot of the Sega/Mega CD games I play, the sound emulation for the Mp3s is a little... off. While this isn't a problem in Snatcher (the lip syncing is just a little off sometimes), sound clips will be completely cut off in games like Lunar. I'm running the games downloaded from Emuparadise, sound files included.

Is there a way to get the sound to be completely synchronized?

I've had problems with this game too. Why don't you try it on psx?

    I did. But honestly, I actually prefer the 'darker' story and tone of the Sega CD version to the playstation one. Although the voice acting is terrible, It's a shame that the audio is out of sync in the opening sequence of the SCD one. ;-;

For the most part, it's just little things- these are all the things I can remember:

    - Alex plays a harp instead of an ocarina.
    - Alex can actually use magic (Cure and Fire magic, mostly- that's not including Dragon magic. Also, all of the dragon magic is offensive attack spells.)
    - The graphics use a much darker pallete scheme.
    - The music is almost completely different.
    - The game is much easier.
    - the opening song is COMPLETELY different
    - Luna doesn't follow Alex onto the main continent, making the story a little less coherent.
    - Tempest uses a whip instead of a bow.
    - There's a couple of jokes about Barney. The purple dinosaur. It's all cringeworthy.
    - Ghaleon has a final form, where he's transformed by Althena's power.
    - The game ends in the Grindery.

Also, much of the layout and design is COMPLETELY different, unlike Eternal Blue, which is very similar to the PSX version. The differences between Silver Star amd Silver Star Story Complete are the most noticable though. I prefer the darker tone of the Silver Star, as it offsets the happier tone of Eternal Blue a bit better.

Oh yes, and Alex only has one out of place line in The Silver Star (something I didn't like), which is..: "Ghaleon! What have you done!?"

Something is wrong with some of the images here. I have never gotten this and snatcher to work perfectly. Find an alternative source for this game.

Follow Evan guide, and download at the link he provides. Once you are at the site, register first to be able to download. All the games work fine there.

I'm waiting for Xena to upload the ISO. She mentioned yesterday she will upload it by today. I just posted the message to her at my thread. Hopefully she's around to answer.
