Need help remembering movie title

Okay a movie that I watched years back probably a timeline of 6 years or sooner
came to my mind yet I cannot seem to remember the title of the film and it is bothering me. I remember that the movie is based on a real occurence and has to do with a group of people that sell cocaine and the entire movie the cops bust them once and the protagonist goes to jail once and his wife gives him one more chance. He happens to return to the drug business and he goes to jail for a second time and his daughter and wife leave him because he disobeyed the law and went to sell drugs again. I remember that the guy lost his daughter because she lost respect for him and that at the end of the movie he is in the prison yard and he imagines that his daughter is there with him and talking to him. A message comes out saying that he will be released in the year 2xxx the x's represent the real numbers that I have seem to have forgotten. Any help with this is appreciated. I already knew about "Internet Movie Database". I guess my post wasn't clear in a way but if I knew the actors odds are I would have been able to figure out what the title of the movie was. All I know is a small bit of the movie's storyline other than that my mind is foggy on the subject. I know it is not of much help but if a better description of the movie is needed then I will try my best. I was expecting more or less that someone that would have seen this movie could have known the title but alas that person remains to post here heh. It's just one of those descriptions where you have to have seen the movie to know I guess. Like I said I don't know anything else about the movie other than what it is about.
