Default AMD Duron 1800's and SMP (Dual CPU MB)

I was given a free brand new sort-of-outdated mainboard that supports Dual AMD Socket A cpu's (says Athlon MP) up to 266mhz FSB. However, someone told me that I could also use 2 AMD Duron 1800 cpu's (266mhz FSB, APPLEBRED Core, 1.8ghz) and that they had SMP mode left unlocked for users to use them in Dual boards.

    (http://www.tyan.com/products/html/tigermp.html - My board)

Basically, I just want to know, will they work in my board, has anyone tried something similar to this?

um...i think you can somehow quickly mod ANY athlon XP into an Athlon MP, just google around for it.

Yeah, that i know. but it's harder to find new Athlon XP's than it is to find Duron 1800's.
