It's actually not a Windir-song, it's a norwegian folk-song. Glittertind also covered it on his first album.

I've been addicted to Jag Panzer's "Mechanized Warfare" lately. Such a great album.

Apparently I'm going to have to murder Howie for not going to this show : http://www.bombers.no/index.php

A Motrhead coverband, but not just any coverband, take a look at the lineup. [/orgasm]

Check out the shows I'll be going to later this year:

    Napalm Death with Obituary.
    Therion with Beyond the Embrace
Suffocation, Cryptopsy, Vader, Decapitated, Dew-Scented, Aborted, Despised Icon [/goregasm]
    and something I just discovered:
    Sodom with Finntroll

Sounds like a cross between Static X and Linkin Park.

If you want a real Christian metal group, check out Extol, this just sounds like radio-friendly hard rock to me man. Appreciate your contribution tho. But the vast majority of metalheads on the boards don't exactly like religious themes.

Yeah, Extol is great (their newest was decent enough). You should also check out the christian groups Antestor (Black Metal) and Theocracy (Powerprog). I'm not a big fan of religion, but these bands kicks some serious ass.

Oh... how could I forget the Spanish power metaller's Tierra Santa. Lots of biblical referances, but not all of their lyrics are religious stuff. Lyrics are all in Spanish btw. Highly reccomended to anyone who likes Dark Moor.

The new Opeth album was apparently leaked, as I'm downloading it right now.

Cool, I'm gonna get it now. I hope the album is not as meh-ish as The Grand Conjuration was.

To tell you the truth, I never really liked Opeth except for some early material. I just don't like progressive rock/metal, it's too long and slow for me. *goes and listens to some grind* The acoustic/ambiental tracks = awesome, but that's all I really like about them nowadays.

I got it mostly just to not have a gap in my discography.
